"To make the furry coat of this giraffe, I had to meticulously hand cut paper and attach it to the giraffe’s three-dimensional paper body. To cut the paper that tiny, is a very slow and tedious process. But, it is also a process that I really enjoy. I find it to be very calming and relaxing. This miniature giraffe measures approximately 3” x2.5” and is made entirely out of paper and paint. There are no wires or wood hidden inside. Just paper!"
